Dreaming of being Bruce Lee after my father took me to a Bruce Lee movie; I took an interest in the martial arts as a very small child. My father casually enrolled me into a school around the corner of our house thinking I will not stick with it. He then proceeded to take me to a karate demonstration after that; I was hooked. Getting more serious about the martial art and martial arts training in my preteens, I began my life long journey in the Martials Arts resulting in over 40 years of training in the martial arts with Black Belts in Tae Kwon Do, Tang Soo Do, and Soo Bak Kee including formalized training in Ju Jitsu and Filipino Arts. Nothing that I have accomplished in the arts could not have been achieved without having amazing Instructors like Grandmaster Mike Fillmore, Grandmaster Able Villarreal, and
Grandmaster Rodney Kauffman, Grandmaster Dan Roberts , Grandmaster Roger Rayburn, and Grandmaster Johnny Thompson along with many more martial artists and Instructors who have had a direct Influence in my martial art life. With many rank promotions through the years like my 4th Dan in 2002, 5th Dan in 2009, 6th Dan in 2010, 7th Dan in 2017, 8th Dan in 2018, then I was blessed by the Lord himself and the belief in me by many fellow martial artists, I was promoted to 9th Dan Grandmaster in 2025. I am humbled and thankful for the belief in me by many fellow martial artists. I am even more thankful by the belief in me and support from my wife Diana and our kids Denise, Dennis, William, Victoria, Anthony to include six grandkids. I love each of you deeply.
